The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond is set to present his Autumn Budget to Parliament on Wednesday.

Hammond, who is under immense pressure from Brexit-supporting Tories, is likely to give thrust to investment in housing and infrastructure. The announcement is due at 7.30 am ET.

The budget provides the plan for the economy based on the set of forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility. The agency is forecast to downgrade its growth projections today.

No major statistical reports are due from European economies, on Wednesday.

At 2.00 am ET, Statistics Norway releases unemployment data for September. The jobless rate is forecast to remain unchanged at 4.1 percent in September. In the meantime, Turkey's consumer confidence data is due.

At 3.30 am ET, Sweden's central bank is set to issue Financial Stability Report.

At 4.00 am ET, Statistics Iceland publishes the wage index for October.

At 10.00 am ET, Eurozone flash consumer sentiment survey results are due. The confidence index is seen at -0.9 in November versus -1 in October.
