At 5.00 am ET Friday, Eurozone flash inflation figures are due. Economists forecast inflation to rise to 2 percent in June from 1.9 percent in May.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro eased against the pound, it held steady against the rest of major rivals.
The euro was worth 129.04 against the yen, 0.8845 against the pound, 1.1650 against the greenback and 1.1578 against the franc as of 4:55 am ET.
