During early Asian deals on Tuesday, the European currency traded higher against its major counterparts. At 9:20 pm ET, the euro was trading at 1.3992 against the US dollar, 0.9438 versus the British pound, 1.5301 against the Swiss franc and 126.36 versus the Japanese yen.
