As expected, the European Central Bank maintained its refi rate at 0.00 percent and the deposit rate at -0.4 percent. Following the decision, the euro changed little against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 129.75 against the yen, 1.1271 against the franc, 1.1631 against the greenback and 0.8911 against the pound around 7:48 am ET.
