Eurozone inflation for December and trade data for November are due at 5:00 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of these data, the euro dropped against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 1.1430 against the greenback, 124.12 against the yen, 1.1260 against the franc and 0.8894 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
