At 5:00 am ET Thursday, Eurostat will release Eurozone GDP and employment data for the fourth quarter.
Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro rose against the pound, it dropped against the greenback, the franc and the yen.
The euro was worth 1.1265 against the greenback, 125.04 against the yen, 1.1361 against the franc and 0.8778 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
