Industrial Production in South Korea was up a seasonally adjusted 0.5 percent on month in January, Statistics Korea said on Thursday - rebounding from the 0.8 percent contraction in December.

On a yearly basis, industrial production added 0.1 percent - slowing from the 0.7 percent increase in the previous month.

The Index of all industry production in January added 0.8 percent on month and 0.6 percent on year.

The Manufacturing Production Index gained 0.5 percent on month and 0.2 percent on year, while the Manufacturing Shipment Index climbed 1.5 percent on month but fell 0.3 percent on year. The Manufacturing Inventory Index shed 1.2 percent on month but jumped 6.8 percent on year.
