German jobless rate for April is set to be released at 3:55 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the euro recovered against the greenback, it fell against the rest of major counterparts.
The euro was worth 124.72 against the yen, 1.1400 against the franc, 0.8640 against the pound and 1.1179 against the greenback as of 3:50 am ET.
