Swiss National Bank retained interest on sight deposits at -0.75 percent and the target range for the three-month Libor between -1.25 percent and -0.25 percent, as expected.
The franc climbed against its major rivals following the announcement.
The franc was trading at 108.96 against the yen, 1.1234 against the euro, 0.9944 against the greenback and 1.2601 against the pound around 3:32 am ET.
