The U.S. personal income and spending data for June is due at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. The greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts before the data. While the greenback held steady against the pound, it dropped against the rest of major rivals.
The greenback was worth 108.49 against the yen, 0.9896 against the franc, 1.2175 against the pound and 1.1152 against the euro at 8:25 am ET.
