Statistics Canada will release Canada consumer prices for July at 8:30 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the loonie held steady against the yen and the euro, it rose against the greenback. Versus the aussie, it dropped.
The loonie was worth 80.10 against the yen, 1.4756 against the euro, 1.3292 against the greenback and 0.9035 against the aussie as of 8:25 am ET.
