After the release of UK Markit/CIPS flash PMI survey data at 4.30 am ET Friday, the pound fell further against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 1.2879 against the greenback, 139.79 against the yen, 0.8581 against the euro and 1.2798 against the franc around 4:35 am ET.
