Germany's flash PMI results are due at 3:30 am ET Friday. Ahead of the data, the euro traded mixed against its major rivals. While the euro fell against the yen and the franc, it rose against the greenback. Against the pound, it held steady.
The euro was worth 120.57 against the yen, 1.0610 against the franc, 0.8375 against the pound and 1.0802 against the greenback as of 3:25 am ET.
