At 5.30 am ET Wednesday, the Office for National Statistics has released UK's monthly GDP, industrial and construction output and foreign trade data. The pound changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The pound was trading at 1.2962 against the greenback, 136.40 against the yen, 1.2130 against the franc and 0.8735 against the euro around 5:35 am ET.
