The Australian dollar remained higher on Friday following better than estimated jobs data in August.
Official figures showed unemployment slid to 6.2% last month, with the country gaining additional 17,400 jobs.
The Aussie finished at 62.64 euro cents from Thursday's 62.67 euro cents, 70.66 US cents from 70.24 US cents, and 45.77 British pence from 45.76 British pence.
