Russia's Finance Minister Anton Siluanov on Friday said the country's federal deficit this year may hit 3.5-3.7 percent of gross domestic product.
Officials at the finance ministry previously hoped to cap the deficit this year to 3.2 percent of GDP.
At a forum in Sochi, Siluanov said the ministry intended to increase borrowing in 2016 by 200 billion roubles ($3.2 billion).
