Gold is trading around $4,262, rebounding after finding strong support near the upper band of the uptrend channel, which had been broken. It is likely to continue rising in the coming hours and could reach the Murray 3/8 level, around $4,296, before finally reaching the 200 EMA level, around $4,325.

Strong resistance is expected around $4,296; this level could act as a solid ceiling for gold, which means a technical correction below this zone. If the bullish momentum is maintained, the next resistance level could be at $4,325, which could also send a sell signal.

Conversely, if gold falls below $4,260, a bearish outlook is expected. Hence, the instrument could continue its slide until it reaches the 1/8 Murray level, around $4,140. Ultimately, we expect a strong consolidation around the 21SMA level at $4,083, or a move toward the psychological level of $4,000.
