Bitcoin and Ether did not like the data on the slowdown of inflation in the U.S. yesterday. Apparently, the pace of the decline in price pressure was insufficient to shift market dynamics in favor of buyers. Bitcoin is now trading around $63,800, and Ether at $1,889, which indicates a possible further decline in risk assets.
Meanwhile, Ethereum recorded another record in the share of staked coins, 34.4% of the total supply versus roughly 30% at the beginning of the year, and in absolute terms this means that 41.7 million Ether out of 120.7 million circulating are locked in staking contracts. The context in which this indicator formed gives it special significance. The asset's price over the same period collapsed from about $3,400 in January to around $1,900 in August, a drop of almost 44%, while the volume of staked coins steadily grew all that time, remaining at about 36 million at the end of 2025 before accelerating from February and sharply jumping between June and August.
This divergence indicates that this is not a simple bullish signal of confidence in price growth, but a shift in the very structure of supply: investors are increasingly choosing long-term capital lock-up regardless of short-term price dynamics.
As for short-term trading, the strategy and conditions are described below.
Scenario #1: I will buy Bitcoin today when the entry point around $63,900 is reached, targeting a rise to $64,200. Around $64,200, I will exit buy positions and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, make sure the 50-day simple moving average is below the current price and the Awesome indicator is above zero.
Scenario #2: Bitcoin can be bought from the lower boundary of $63,800 if there is no market reaction to its breakout to the downside toward $63,700 and $63,400.
Scenario #1: I will sell Bitcoin today when the entry point around $63,700 is reached, targeting a fall to $63,400. Around $63,400, I will exit sell positions and buy immediately on the rebound. Before selling on a breakout, make sure the 50-day simple moving average is above the current price and the Awesome indicator is below zero.
Scenario #2: Bitcoin can be sold from the upper boundary of $63,800 if there is no market reaction to its breakout to the upside toward $63,700 and $63,400.
Scenario #1: I will buy Ether today when the entry point around $1,895 is reached, targeting a rise to $1,907. Around $1,907, I will exit buy positions and sell immediately on the rebound. Before buying on a breakout, make sure the 50-day simple moving average is below the current price and the Awesome indicator is above zero.
Scenario #2: Ether can be bought from the lower boundary of $1,886 if there is no market reaction to its breakout to the downside toward $1,895 and $1,907.
