President Donald Trump and technology company bosses will tackle the White House's plan to help in reducing government waste and furthering services.
Last week, during a conference call, administration officials said there was an economic opportunity to save around $1 trillion over a decade by slashing information technology expenditures, costs through better IT, increasing government purchasing power, and curbing fraud throughout agencies.
The gathering comes as the Trump administration pushes to downscale the government, lower its workforce, and remove regulations. Several business executives are determined to collaborate with the new government as they grapple with several regulatory and other related matters.
