U.S. inflation data for November has been published by the Labor Department at 8.30 am ET Tuesday. After the data, the greenback dropped further against its major counterparts.
The greenback was trading at 144.84 against the yen, 1.0825 against the euro, 1.2607 against the pound and 0.8724 against the franc around 8:32 am ET.
