Belgium's industrial production experienced a slight decrease of 0.1% in July 2025 compared to the same month the previous year, a shift from the previously noted, downwardly revised growth of 2.7% in June. This decline was primarily attributed to a further drop in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning, which fell by 8.5%, worsening from a 5.8% decrease. Additionally, there was a deceleration in manufacturing output growth, which slowed to 0.8% from the earlier 3.6%. Conversely, production in the mining and quarrying sector saw a minor recovery, increasing by 0.1% after a previous decrease of 1.3%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production in July rose by 1.1%, marking a deceleration from June's 5.2% rise.
