In December 2025, Argentina's Consumer Confidence Index experienced a 1.1% decrease from the previous month, bringing it to 45.5 and marking its first decline since September. Both the assessment of current conditions and future expectations showed weakening. Specifically, the index for current conditions fell by 1.70% compared to November, and future expectations saw a reduction of 0.66%. Among the sub-indices, there was a notable dip of 3.38% in durable goods and real estate, a 0.53% decline in the macroeconomic situation, while the personal situation saw a minor increase of 0.03%. Regionally, Buenos Aires city stood out with the largest monthly increase of 21.01%, whereas Greater Buenos Aires experienced a decrease of 2.49%. In terms of income levels, confidence levels remained steady among high-income households but dropped significantly by 4.47% among low-income households. When compared to the same period last year, the index fell by 1.04% from December 2024.
