Automakers were among the worst performers after BMW (-2.5%) reported a 3% drop in full-year net profit to €7.45 billion in 2025 and cautioned that earnings are likely to weaken further this year. In contrast, Daimler Truck advanced 2.8% after issuing guidance for stable profit margins in 2026 and signaling a stronger performance in the second half of the year.
