Producer prices in Greece declined by 1.7% year-on-year in February 2026, following a 3.7% decrease in January. Energy prices fell by 6.7%, moderating from a sharper 10.7% drop in the previous month. Meanwhile, price pressures strengthened in several other categories, with non-durable consumer goods rising by 1.2% (up from 1.1%) and capital goods increasing by 1.7% (up from 0.7%). By contrast, producer inflation for durable consumer goods eased slightly to 0.7% from 0.8%, while prices for intermediate goods rose by 3.8%. On a monthly basis, producer prices advanced by 1.9%, accelerating from a 0.2% increase in January.
