Slovakia’s EU-normalized consumer price inflation slowed to 3.70% year-over-year in March 2026, down from 4.00% in February 2026, according to data updated on 16 April 2026. The indicator measures price changes in March compared with the same month a year earlier, in line with the harmonised methodology used across the European Union.
The latest reading confirms a continuing disinflationary trend, as price growth moderates from earlier elevated levels. Both the current March figure and the previous February figure are based on year-over-year comparisons, allowing for a consistent assessment of how quickly inflation pressures are easing in the Slovak economy within the broader EU context.
