Colombia’s industrial confidence index declined in March 2026, dropping 3.2 percentage points compared with the previous month. The fall was mainly explained by an 8.5-point decrease in production expectations for the next quarter and a 4.8-point increase in inventory levels, partially offset by a 3.9-point rise in the current volume of orders. On a year-over-year basis, the index decreased by 4.4 percentage points.
