Finland’s export prices rose at a faster annual pace in July 2026, with the Finnish Export Price Index showing an 8.5% year-over-year increase, up from 6.1% in June 2026. The latest figures highlight a notable acceleration in export price growth compared with the same month a year earlier.
According to the published data, both the current and previous readings are measured on a year-over-year basis, comparing each month to its counterpart in the prior year. The July 2026 reading thus reflects how export prices have evolved versus July of the previous year, while June’s 6.1% figure measured the change against June a year earlier.
The updated data, released on 24 August 2026, suggest rising price momentum in Finland’s export sector, which could have implications for the country’s trade competitiveness and export revenues, depending on how global demand responds to higher prices for Finnish goods.
