The euro reflected mixed trading against its major counterparts following the German statistical office Destatis posted its producer prices for December.
Producer prices slid 1.7% year-on-year in December, the largest drop since March 2010. Prices declined for 17 consecutive months.
The 18-nation currency fell slightly versus the British pound at £0.7671. But it climbed versus the Swiss franc at 1.0221.
The shared currency was slightly changed versus the US dollar and the Japanese yen at $1.1569 and ¥136.99, respectively.
