The slowdown was replaced by an update of the minimum. Now, the decline continues. The bears retain the advantage and their target is still at 1.0960 - 1.0806 (weekly target for the breakout of the Ichimoku cloud). The nearest resistance zone is now formed by the monthly Fibo Kijun (1.1290) and the daily short-term trend (1.1325), passed the day before.
On the lower timeframes, another corrective rise is currently developing. The pair seeks to gain a foothold above the central pivot point (1.1213), and bulls aim to conquer the weekly long-term trend (1.1268). The intermediate resistance along this path is located at 1.1240 (R1). A consolidation above and a reversal of moving averages may change the current balance of power, giving preference to further strengthening of bullish sentiment.
Until this moment, the advantages are on the side of the bearish players, who for a long time, despite the corrective ups, have been engaged in the development of a downward trend. Exit from the current correction zone and the continuation of the decline will return the relevance of the supports of the classic pivot points (1.1171 - 1.1144 - 1.1102) within the day.

GBP/USD
The bears strengthened the decline yesterday. Their immediate target is now the lower border of the weekly cloud (1.3248). The levels of 1.3411-14 passed and left a little behind (historical level + daily short-term trend) in the current situation are important benchmarks that will be useful in case of a change of priorities and new activity of bulls.
The main advantage and support of the analyzed technical instruments at the time of analysis are on the side of further strengthening of bearish sentiments. The downward reference points within the day are now the support of the classic pivot points, which today can be noted at 1.3296 - 1.3268 - 1.3222.
At the moment, there is an interaction with the central pivot point (1.3342). Consolidation above will allow bulls to continue to recover their positions, the next reference point for the rise, in this case, will be the weekly long-term trend (1.3407). Intermediate resistance along the way is now at 1.3370 (R1).
