South Korea’s imports increased 26.5% year-on-year in July 2026, easing from a 30.0% jump in the previous month and broadly matching market expectations of 26.6%, according to flash estimates. This marked the ninth consecutive month of import growth, underpinned by solid domestic demand as worries over trade disruptions linked to the Middle East conflict subsided.
