The Czech business confidence indicator held steady at 100.2 in August 2026, as stronger sentiment in industry offset declines in construction and trade, while services confidence dipped slightly. Industrial confidence increased to 98.1 from 97.8 in July, reaching its highest level since March. In contrast, construction confidence eased to 112.6 from 113.2, and trade sentiment weakened to 92.2 from 93.3. Confidence in selected services edged down to 102.2 from 102.4.
