Bitcoin recovered to about $83,900, bouncing from the day's low near $83,000, and the latest inflow data keep the odds of further upside alive. According to the report, spot ETFs drew $66.2 million on Tuesday, extending the streak of net inflows to nine trading days.

SoSoValue data show funds have collected roughly $3.1 billion over the entire run, while year-to-date net inflows have risen to about $1 billion. Simple arithmetic is telling: before the start of the series, the annual balance was negative by roughly $2 billion, so current purchases are first and foremost recouping earlier losses. Fund managers and institutional buyers who accumulated on the dip are the winners, while short positions have lost a persistent source of selling pressure

That said, the pace of inflows has notably slowed. At the start of last week, daily inflows approached $1 billion; on Monday, funds attracted only about $31 million and on Tuesday $66.2 million. The streak technically continues, but money is coming in as a thin trickle rather than an avalanche. As a result, ETFs have stopped providing a strong price impulse, and I don't rule out that further gains will require a fresh spike in demand rather than merely the continuation of current flows.

Altcoin funds, meanwhile, have rotated the other way. Spot-Ethereum ETFs ended a seven-day run and posted a net outflow of about $3 million on Tuesday, whereas they had taken in over $851 million across the prior seven sessions, bringing total inflows since launch to roughly $14 billion. Zcash funds stopped a six-day inflow streak on Monday with an $8 million outflow. These outflow amounts are modest, so I view them more as a pause and some profit-taking rather than a mass exit. Still, Bitcoin remains the only major asset with a sustained positive net inflow balance, which reinforces its position as the primary recipient of institutional capital.

Market sentiment has cooled slightly: the Fear & Greed Index slipped from 73 to 71 and remains in the greed zone. I expect US inflation and labor-market data in the coming sessions to determine Bitcoin's near-term direction; for now, the market is likely to consolidate around current levels.

Bitcoin technicals

Price is holding in a narrow corridor between support at $83,500 and resistance at $83,900, so the plan revolves around two mirrored directions with breakout and rejection scenarios. For buys, the first setup is a confident break above $83,900: the target is $84,400, where I would take profits and consider a flip to short positions on a pullback, provided price stays above the 50-day moving average and the Awesome Oscillator is positive. The second buy scenario works if the downside breakout fails: a rejection at $83,500 or a false drop to $82,900 suggests buying opportunities for a return first to $83,900 and then to $84,400.

Sell conditions are symmetrical. A confirmed break below $83,500 yields a short targeting $82,900 — but only when the 50-day moving average sits above price, and the Awesome turns negative. If a break above $83,900 fails to confirm, short positions target a return to $83,500 and then $82,900.

Ethereum technicals

The logic for Ethereum mirrors Bitcoin on its own price scale. The working corridor is between support at $2,683 and resistance at $2,695. A buy is considered on a break above $2,695 with a target of $2,714, where profits are taken, and a short on the pullback may be considered — or on a rejection from $2,683 or a false dip to $2,660, in which case the initial target is $2,695 and then $2,714. Sell positions are possible on a confirmed break below $2,683 targeting $2,660, or on a failed break above $2,695 with a return trade aiming at $2,683 and then $2,660. The 50-day MA and Awesome conditions are the same as for Bitcoin.

Both indicators are used purely as filters to weed out false moves, not as independent reasons to enter early; decisions are taken only after price actually confirms the specified levels.
