The Swiss franc that rose sharply against the currencies of U.S., U.K. and Europe at 12:30 am ET Friday pared its gains after 1:00 am ET. The franc thus eased from new multi-week highs of 1.3190 against the euro and 1.6049 against the pound.
As of now, the franc is worth 1.3229 against the euro, 1.6090 against the pound and 1.0326 against the dollar.
