The British pound slipped to a 19-month low of 1.5805 against the Swiss franc at 1:35 am ET Tuesday. The next downside target level for the U.K. currency is seen at 1.513. The pound-franc pair that closed yesterday's trading at 1.5866 is now worth 1.5820.

The pound also fell against the currencies of US and Japan in Asian deals today. At present, the pound is trading at new multi-day lows of 129.90 against the yen and 1.5436 against the dollar, compared to yesterday's close of 130.85 and 1.5462, respectively. If the pound drops further, it may likely target 128.8 against the yen and 1.537 against the dollar.
