Germany's industrial production report for July is expected at 6:00 am ET Wednesday. Ahead of the release, the euro recovered slightly from its recent loss against other major currencies.
At 5:55 am ET, the euro traded at 1.2693 against the dollar, 0.8216 against the pound, 1.2798 against the franc and 106.38 against the yen.
