Moldova's industrial output increased annually in August, led by both manufacturing as well as mining and quarrying sectors, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed Monday.
Industrial production rose 19.4 percent year-on-year in August. Mining and quarrying output grew 21.5 percent and manufacturing production increased 21.4 percent.
For the January to August period, industrial production increased 10 percent from the previous year.
