Against the European currency, the Australian dollar traded down during early deals on Friday. At 3:05 am ET, the Aussie touched a 2-day low of 1.9760 against the euro, compared to 1.9651 hit late New York Thursday. On the downside, 1.999 is seen as the next target level for the Australian currency.
