During New York morning trading on Thursday, the US dollar plunged against the Israeli shekel. The pair slipped to a 1 1/2-month low of 1.4905 by about 9:10 am ET from European session's high of 1.5355. The greenback is presently trading at 1.5014 against the lira, compared to 1.5275 hit late New York Wednesday. On the downside, 1.4797 is seen as the next target level for the US currency.
