Lithuania's retail sales growth held steady in June after easing in the previous month, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Retail sales, excluding VAT, grew a working-day-adjusted 6.2 percent year-over-year in June, the same rate of increase as in May.
Excluding automotive fuel, retail sales climbed 3.0 percent in June from a year ago. Sales of food products, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products rose 4.6 percent and that for non-food products went up by 1.2 percent.
Retail sale of automotive fuel alone surged 18.3 percent, while sales of textiles, clothing and footwear dropped by 0.8 percent.
On a monthly basis, retail sales increased a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 0.6 percent at the end of the second quarter.
