At 5.00 am ET Monday, Eurostat is scheduled to release euro area final consumer prices for November. The statistical office is expected to confirm the initial estimate of 1.5 percent.
Ahead of the data, the euro advanced against its major rivals.
The euro was worth 1.1794 against the greenback, 132.84 against the yen, 1.1663 against the franc and 0.8831 against the pound as of 4:55 am ET.
