At 8:30 am ET Thursday, the Labor Department has released U.S. weekly jobless claims for the week ended January 27. The greenback changed little against its major rivals after the data.
The greenback was trading at 1.2448 against the euro, 1.4220 against the pound, 0.9308 against the franc and 109.58 against the yen around 8:32 am ET.
