Santander Brasil's net operating income totaled R$ 3.025 billion in the second quarter of 2018, a 29.5% increase over the same period of 2017. The result was in line with the average of the estimates collected by Agencia CMA, of R$ 3.028 billion.

The net operating income corresponds to the corporate profit excluding the extraordinary result and reversion of 100% of the goodwill amortization expense of the period. Corporate net income, without adjustment, totaled R$ 2.972 billion in the quarter, up 58.2% over the same period of the previous year.
