The Office for National Statistics has released U.K. retail sales for January at 4:30 am ET Friday.
After the data, the pound recovered from its early lows against its major counterparts.
The pound was trading at 141.34 against the yen, 1.2898 against the franc, 1.2811 against the greenback and 0.8803 against the euro around 4:33 am ET.
