German GfK consumer sentiment index for March is set for release at 2:00 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the euro dropped against its major counterparts.
The euro was worth 125.82 against the yen, 1.1358 against the franc, 0.8641 against the pound and 1.1351 against the greenback as of 1:55 am ET.
