At 9:00 am ET Tuesday, S&P/Case-Shiller home price index for December will be out. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the greenback dropped against the yen and the euro, it held steady against the pound. Against the the franc, it rose.
The greenback was worth 110.71 against the yen, 1.0005 against the franc, 1.3183 against the pound and 1.1371 against the euro as of 8:55 am ET.
