Canada wholesale sales for February are due at 8:30 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the data, the loonie dropped against its major counterparts.
The loonie was worth 83.53 against the yen, 1.5061 against the euro, 0.9523 against the aussie and 1.3392 against the greenback as of 8:25 am ET.
