New Zealand's credit card spending increased in April, after falling in the previous month, figures from Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed on Tuesday.
Credit card spending rose 0.6 percent month-on-month in April, after a 0.1 percent decline in March. This was the fastest growth in three months.
Domestic billing grew 0.8 percent over the month to NZ$3.447 billion, while overseas billings remained flat in April.
On a year-on-year, credit card spending growth remained at 4.5 percent in April, same as seen in the preceding month.
