The U.S. new home sales for April are scheduled for release at 10:00 am ET Thursday. Ahead of the data, the greenback traded mixed against its major rivals. While the greenback fell against the yen and the pound, it held steady against the franc. Against the euro, it rose.
The greenback was worth 109.81 against the yen, 1.1128 against the euro, 1.0081 against the franc and 1.2652 against the pound as of 9:55 am ET.
