At 4.00 am ET Tuesday, Germany's Ifo business confidence survey results have been released. The euro edged up against its major counterparts after the data.
The euro was trading at 118.29 against the yen, 1.0991 against the greenback, 0.8850 against the pound and 1.0887 against the franc around 4:03 am ET.
