Following the release of euro area flash PMI survey results at 4.00 am ET Friday, the euro ticked down against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 1.1060 against the greenback, 120.06 against the yen, 0.8568 against the pound and 1.0998 against the franc around 4:05 am ET.
